تأسست شركة "الطاير للسيارات" عام 1982؛ وهي تمثل نخبة من كبريات شركات صناعة السيارات الأوروبية والأمريكية بما فيها "فورد"، و"لينكون"، و"فيراري"، و"مازيراتي"، و"جاكوار"، و"لاند روڨر"، ، وشاحنات "فورد" في مختلف أنحاء دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
