ABOUT PIER IMPORT
In 1962, Pier Import started as a single store in San Mateo, California. Its headquarters were officially established in 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas. The Pier was listed on the American Stock Exchange in 1970. The company had a total of 42 stores, including the first Canadian store. In 1988, the number of stores in France reached 120 with branches in all the major countries in Europe. In 1997, Pier Import started in the GCC Countries franchising out of France. The first store in Dubai was opened by Dr Faisal Al Mutawa and became independent in 2001.

Pier Import has created a name for it-self and takes pride in supplying a vast variety and selection of merchandises able to cater everyone’s needs and taste. It is very popular with people from all walks of life, from locals to westerners alike. With over 20 exclusive agencies and brand names the showroom displays over 700 different items at any one time, ranging from: Bedroom; Living room; Dining rooms; Garden furniture & Accessories; Patio & Outdoor furniture; Bamboo & Rattan furniture; Reproduction & Antique; Specially patented designs; Accessories & Home decor; Paintings & Frames.

Pier Import can supply bulk as well as individual items. If you wish to put a show home together, Pier Import can supply you the Furnishings and Interior Designs.
