تأسس نادي دبي لأصحاب الهمم عام 1993،وأحرز عام 2013 لقب النادي المتميز في جائزة التفوق الرياضي من مجلس دبي الرياضي، ويهدف نادي دبي للمعاقين إلى تهيئة ذوي الإعاقة، بدنياً ونفسياً للقيام بدورهم التنموي في المجتمع، في المجالات الرياضية والثقافية والاجتماعية، ولا يألو النادي جهداً في تسخير كافة الامكانات المتاحة للأعضاء باختلاف إعاقاتهم، وتوفير عدد كبير من الرياضات التي تتناسب مع قدراتهم، ويحرص النادي على المشاركة في الاستحقاقات الرياضية محلياً ودولياً
