نبذة عن صندوق الفرج
بتوجيهات ودعم من سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، تقرر إنشاءصندوق الفرج للعام 2009 باعتباره أحد المؤسسات الخيرية المعتمدة التابعة لوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية حيث يستهدف الفئات التالية
• النزلاء المعسرين
• أسر النزلاء

أهداف الصندوق
1- تعزيز روح التضامن والتكافل الاجتماعي.
2- تأكيد المفاهيم الحديثة لدور المؤسسة الإصلاحية والعقابية.
3- ضمان الحياة الكريمة لأسرة النزيل.
4- المساهمة في سداد ديون النزلاء المعسرين.

آلية عمل الصندوق الفرج
• يتولى الصندوق دراسة أوضاع النزلاء المعسرين في كافة المؤسسات العقابية والإصلاحية في الدولة وذلك بعد استيفاءهم الشروط وفق معايير منهجية واضحة والتواصل مع المستفيدين لتسوية المبالغ المطالب بها.
• يقوم الصندوق بزيارة أسر النزلاء والتعرف على أوضاعهم الإجتماعية حرصاً على توفير الحياة الكريمة لهم

ABOUT FARAJ FUND
Under the patronage and guidance of HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Faraj Fund was established through Ministerial Decree No. 300 for the year 2009 from the Minister of Social Affairs to give priority assistance to

• Indigent Inmates
• Inmates’ Families

OBJECTIVES
1. Foster a spirit of unity and social solidarity
2. Confirm that the institution adheres to the modern concepts
of correctional and penal reform
3. Ensure a decent life for the inmate's family
4. Contribute to the payment of debts

HOW FARAJ FUND WORKS
Faraj Fund reviews the conditions of indigent inmates in all penal and correctional institutions in the UAE. This is done after fulfilling a set of standards and methodology, and communicating with competent authorities to settle the amounts claimed.
Faraj Fund also visits the inmate's family to evaluate their condition and ensure that they live a decent life.
