The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) was established in 1996 as a government entity responsible for protecting the environment by reducing pollution and enhancing our biodiversity. It does this through science, research, policy, regulation, environmental education and awareness.

Today, we are helping to play a key role in preserving and enhancing Abu Dhabi’s natural heritage, which is a legacy and blessing that should be passed on to future generations, while acting as a global leader in the efficient use of resources and contributing to a better quality of life for all.

تأسست هيئة البيئة - أبوظبي في عام 1996 لتكون إحدى المؤسسات الحكومية التي تلتزم بحماية البيئة عن طريق الحد من التلوث وتعزيز التنوع البيولوجي. تسعى الهيئة إلى تحقيق ذلك من خلال العلوم والأبحاث والسياسات والأنظمة المتعلقة بالبيئة والتعليم والتوعية البيئيين.
