Nawah Energy Company is the operator of the UAE’s peaceful & civil nuclear program. Nawah Energy Company is mandated to safely operate and maintain Units 1 to 4 in Barakah in adherence to the highest standards of safety, quality and security, and to the UAE’s commitment of operational transparency.
Nawah Energy Company was incorporated as a subsidiary of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) in 2016 as a result of the Joint Venture Agreement between ENEC and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO). Nawah Energy Company is a Private Joint Stock Company (PJSC) with 82% ownership by ENEC 18% ownership by KEPCO.

شركة نواة للطاقة – الذراع التشغيلية للبرنامج النووي السلمي في دولة الإمارات لتكون إحدى الشركات التابعة لمؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية عام 2016، وذلك بعد توقيع اتفاقية الائتلاف المشترك بين مؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية والشركة الكورية للطاقة الكهربائية "كيبكو".شركة نواة مسؤولة عن التشغيل الآمن للمحطات الأربعة في براكة وصيانتها، وذلك وفق أعلى معايير السلامة والأمان والجودة، والعمل وفق التزام دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بالشفافية التشغيلية. إن شركة نواة للطاقة هي شركة مساهمة خاصة ومملوكة لشركة كيبكو بنسبة 18% في حين أن الحصة المتبقية بنسبة 82% تعود للمؤسسة.
